Quarantine Indoor Picnic x Small Talk Vineyards

It’s been two months of quarantine and since we can’t access parks (and it’s currently SNOWING in May), we decided to have an indoor picnic right in our living room. In partnership with Small Talk Vineyards, a boutique winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake, we did a taste test of three of their fresh pressed Shiny Apple Ciders. Watch the video to see which pick was our favourite.

Geoff and I met at a wedding in Niagara-on-the-Lake so it’s nice for us to be able to order wine right to our doorstep while supporting a local business. Spring/summer is prime season for vineyard visits, and with the precariousness of when things will open up again, a lot of wineries are trying to find new ways to adapt.

Small Talk is offering FREE DELIVERY across Ontario (for orders over $75 with the code SHIPFREE). In addition to ciders, they have a delicious selection of wines with cute, tongue-in-cheek labels.

We had the opportunity to try the RSVP Pinot Grigio (crisp and delish, just the way I like it) during happy hour and while cooking dinner earlier this week (see videos below). Their “Big Ideas” cab franc is another fav (this label incites creativity especially as a writer!)
