Bookstore Bucket List ~ Toronto Edition
52 bookstores in 52 weeks
New year, new decade, new challenge
As a writer and reader, books have always been my favourite form of escape. There’s a calming, almost therapeutic aspect to walking into a bookstore (or library) and getting lost amongst the shelves. The Japanese art of forest bathing is a self-care ritual proven to reduce stress, improve immunity, lower blood pressure and enhance mood—and I feel as though “book bathing” provides the same benefits. I can’t wait to check off each bookish place on my bucket list around the world someday, but in the meantime I thought it’d be fun to start with my own backyard in Toronto, Canada. I welcome all of you to join me! Hashtag #bookstorebucketlistTO on Instagram to follow along and check out the interactive map below.
