Ch. 85 | Mindful (and Demure) Life Lessons I've Learned Lately on Savouring Simple Pleasures π° MY BIRTHDAY EPISODE
Show Notes
This is probably the most honest and vulnerable podcast I have recorded to date. Sharing all of the big feels and insights I've gleaned lately about how I want to show up in the world, dwell in the present, reset my nervous system (so I'm not always operating in fight or flight), and show up more mindfully in my writing life and life in general. It all begins with me baking my own birthday cake - not in the TradWife sense - but in an effort to go back to basics, craving a creative outlet, creating something from nothing (not unlike the process of writing a book). I also share some lessons learned from the British author, Dolly Alderton, that have resonated with me in this transformative season of life. I also didn't expect to get so emotional at the end...
